Reporting to: Head Chef, Second Chef, General Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor, Head Stewards
Carrying out various preparation and cleaning duties in the establishment under the direction of the management team Assisting the Head/Second Chef in the provision of food to the agreed standard within the budgetary limitations Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the food preparation and storage areas. Cleaning of kitchen equipment and areas according to the cleaning schedule and management teams' request. Porterage of any foods and equipment to wherever necessary, as required by the management team. Assisting in the food preparation areas as required by the management team. Maintaining and improving standards of safety and hygiene to create a healthy and safe environment. Carrying out all tasks in co-ordinance with safe systems of work, assured safe catering and company policies. Attending meetings and training sessions as and when requested by the management team. Attending the workplace at the required times in the correct uniform to promote a professional image and good customer relations. Assisting at special functions from time to time or as requested by the management team. Carrying out any reasonable requests by the management team.
