The Role: Kitchenhand position is a diverse role from cleaning through to assisting and supporting the TCS (Total Catering Solutions) Chefs and Cooks in completing the day's production in line with TCS HACCP requirements.
This is a casual role with availability to work across Monday-Thursday 6AM – 3:30PM & Friday 6AM – 12:30PM.
Key Responsibilities: Support resident's physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care deliveryAssist with resident's care needs in line with their care planClean kitchen machinery and equipment in line with HACCP procedures.Clean floors, walls and cool rooms in line with HACCP procedures.Document in HACCP records as required.Assist with food preparation on various product lines including pie and sausage roll. Packaging various products and palletising ready for delivery to customers.Work within the pot wash area; washing dishes, pots and utensils.Assist Cooks/Chefs with various tasks.Ensure working area is kept clear and free from any OHS hazards.Perform any other duties as directed by the Production Manager or delegate.About You: Fire Extinguisher and Emergency procedure trainingInfection control trainingChemical TrainingFood Safe TrainingNational Police Clearance CertificateEvidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living PoliciesSuccessful completion of pre-medical form and key physical requirements assessment, including drug and alcohol screen and reference check.Good verbal, written and interpersonal skillsHow to apply: If you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
