Kitchen Hand

The Role   Black Star Pastry is thriving, and we're looking for a Kitchen Hand to join the team at our purpose built Kitchen HQ in Alexandria.
Your main responsibilities will include cleaning kitchen equipment and machinery, monitoring and rotating stock levels and generally maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
We offer reliable day time hours, stable employment and the rare opportunity to achieve work/life balance in a hospitality role.
This is a full-time opportunity with ideal availability including Friday and Saturday.
Hours are 8am-4pm.
About You Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
Able to build effective and constructive relationships – a true team player!
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely.
Exceptional organisational skills.
Good judgement and confident to make informed decisions.
Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing business demands.
Knowledge of health & safety guidelines when using chemicals Our Business   Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with four stores across Sydney and two in Melbourne.
