We are seeking Kitchen Hand for our Mornington Home to work on a casual basis!
About the role: As a Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents.
You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.
You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.
Key responsibilities: Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards Understanding residents special dietary requirements Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff Understand and execute infection control initiatives Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards About you: Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work as a team player Flexibility to work varied shifts Previous experience in Kitchen operations Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards Essential Requirements: Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain) Proof of Work rights in Australia Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose) Proof of Flu vaccination (current year) Culture and Benefits Learning & development .
