As a Kitchen Hand , you will play a vital role in fostering a cheerful atmosphere.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation and cooking, ensuring meals are served safely and tailored to dietary needs.
You'll also maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and contribute to a positive dining experience for our residents.
About Us: Part of Lutheran Services , Cooinda Aged Care service in Gympie is community-focused and committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents.
Cooinda is set against a beautiful country setting on 25 acres, nestled amongst bushland and surrounded by native wildlife.
About The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team to contribute to innovation and excellence You will utilise your experience and knowledge, as well as the creativity you express through food, to contribute to our groundbreaking 'Happy Tables project.'
As part of our catering team, you will be responsible for: • Contributing to the preparation of a quality meal service • Delivering the residents' meal service • Providing great customer service to residents • Assisting the Chef in all areas of the kitchen • Communicating well with co-workers, residents and their families.
** We have Full Time and Part Time positions available.
** About You: You will be able to show you have strong customer service and people skills.
You can juggle your time and tasks well and you believe attention to detail matters.
You understand that food and how it is prepared and presented can have a positive impact on people.
