The Opportunity
Aveo operates thriving retirement living communities across the Greater Brisbane area and we are opening Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Food & Beverage Attendants to join our talent pool as we prepare for a busy Christmas season full of events, functions and staff leave
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll enjoy working in a hospitality environment where you will deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents in our dining rooms & restaurants. You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, enjoy connecting with the residents whilst working in a small team. The residents are the heart of everything we do and the reason we come to work every day, their happiness is key to a successful overall operation and we are looking for someone who values this as much as we do. Christmas is a busy time of year for Aveo communities as we host a wide range of functions, events and when our staff take leave.

What we offer$32.32/hr including 25% casual loading + relevant Aged Care Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation All our shifts finish early - no late nights A great place to start or further your hospitality career Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers The opportunity to pick up shifts at neighbouring communities You willProvide a high level of Customer Service to residents during lunch & dinner service times, or when working events Assist in the daily preparation of meals (e.g light kitchen prep such as making salads and sandwiches) Assist with the delivery of food & beverages Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up) Complete the set up and pack down of the dining room space What you'll bringA friendly and warm persona with a passion for building relationships and chatting with residents Experience in a fast-paced hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded) Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you) Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) Where we are locatedCaboolture South Albany Creek Aspley Bridgeman Downs Clayfield Newstead Taringa Carindale Rochedale Durack Ormiston Cleveland Redland Bay Springfield Who we are
