We are currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to join theteam providing support services at Bethanie Fields Aged Care Homein Eaton. Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Fields isa 160 bed facility designed specifically to provide support forpeople who need 24 hour care, including those with special careneeds and dementia.
We have several permanent part time roles available, workingclosely with the Chef in the main kitchen across week days andweekends with shifts including:
6am - 12pm8am - 2pm9.30am - 4.30pmTo be successful in these roles, you will have experience or aninterest in food preparation and be of a friendly nature, asinteraction with our residents is core to our culture.
About You Possess a passion for or previous experience working as aKitchen Hand, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similarenvironmentHave a 'can do' attitude and a genuinecompassion for our residentsReliable with a strong work ethicAbility to work both independently and as part of ateamWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of TheBethanie GroupWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinationsCurrent National Police Clearance (or willingness to applyfor one)The Role Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation,kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standardsEnsuring required ingredients are available dailyAssisting in the preparation and serving of mealsMaintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches andgeneral surrounds in a clean and safe conditionCollecting and washing pots, pans, crockery andcutleryWorking with Bethanie
