Our team of experienced designers and tradesmen are dedicated to creating custom cabinetry, laundries, and vanities, offering a full range of kitchen design and renovations services.About the role:Join our locally reputable team that offers a creative, fast-paced, and nurturing environment. Our Kitchen Designers are responsible for designing, quoting, and selling kitchens and bespoke joinery focusing on customer satisfaction and striving to achieve company goals. This role will encourage you to tap into your creativity to solve functional design problems, as well as maintain professional and personable relationships with customers and peers. This is an office/on-site design role for our private market.Key responsibilities:Produce high-quality, detailed drawings and renders to create functional and aesthetic designs and effectively utilise time-management skills.Provide support to other departments and team mates to ensure end-to-end project management.Provide assistance in showroom including colour consultations, quotations, managing bookings and answering enquiries.Present proposed designs and quotations to customers, suppliers, and colleagues through honest communication.Adapt to changes in workload depending on busy industry periods via multi-tasking abilities.Prioritise bookings and tasks with Outlook Calendar.Show empathy and understanding to customer needs and wants through effective listening skills and frequent communication.Perform effectively to meet monthly targets and participate in monthly meetings.About you:Effective communication skills.A friendly and approachable nature.Able to work autonomously as well as work within a team.Ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.Attention to detail and design.Time-management skills and the ability to oversee multiple jobs at once.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite applications.Ability to read architectural plans is desired.Knowledge of related products, materials, and the design industry.Must have a licence.Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Interior Design or Kitchen Design or at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role or industry is desirable.If you believe that your skills, knowledge, and abilities fit this job role, please apply through the SEEK website.
