Freycinet Lodge is an eco-lodge that sits within the world famous Freycinet National Park – a stone's throw from the renowned Wineglass Bay on the picturesque East Coast of Tasmania. The Lodge consists of 70 rooms and a main lodge, thoughtfully constructed around a beautiful waterfront below The Hazards mountain range. Located approximately 2.5 hours from Hobart or Launceston, Freycinet Lodge neighbours the popular holiday town of Coles Bay.
Job Description Ensure our guests have a great food and beverage experience and make holiday memories Staff accommodation available Kick off your hospitality career in this casual role What you'll do: You may work in a variety of our food and beverage outlets where you'll actively contribute to a vibrant, collaborative team focused environment. In this role you'll support the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high qualitymeals by providing non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area. On a daily basis you will:
Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and scullery Cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurant Assist colleagues who are cooking including assembling and preparing ingredients Qualifications What you'll bring: A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team Genuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produce Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skills Ability to apply general mathematical skills in a workplace context An ability to work in a fast paced environment Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion Flexibility to work across other areas of the Resort as required such Housekeeping, Reception or Food & Beverage Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays Additional Information What's in it for you?
