An essential role within our kitchen team – key to maintaining kitchen cleanliness & dishes, assist in preparing & serving high-quality food & ensuring all tasks associated with food production are performed with due regard for food safety regulations.
Overview of Role Duties & Requirements:Maintain clean kitchen, bathroom & warehouse storage areasProperly dispose of waste & organise the cleaning of used linenReplenish supplies in storage areasReceive & rotate stockSort through used equipment & leftover food from eventsAssist chefs onsite with food preparation & pack down proceduresIdentify procedures for reducing wastage during ordering, storage & processing of foodPrevious experience in a kitchen environmentAttention to detail & organisedAbility to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook & professional mannerFlexible approach & attitudeFood hygiene training & accreditationExcellent communication, interpersonal & teamwork skillsHardworking, physically fit and reliableTraining in correct lifting techniquesPrior OH&S training and/or accreditationA motivated team player that is comfortable taking on delegated responsibilityGreat personal presentationDoes this sound like you?Join our team and grow with us!
