We make delicious plant-based slices, cakes, and protein balls that are distributed all over Australia. We're a busy and bustling operation, we work efficiently, are respectful and kind to each other, and maintain a clean environment.
THE ROLE: The tasks in this role will vary, most days you'll be:
Operating our protein ball machineSlicing brownie & dessert slabsResponsible for all dishes (commercial dishwasher)Assembling packagingPacking desserts into boxes and labellingPick/packing customer ordersGeneral setup and pack down/cleaning machinesHeavy lifting (14kg to 25kg ingredient boxes and dessert slabs)TELL ME MORE: Your day will start at 7am, include a 15-minute morning break and a half-an-hour lunch break. We clock off at 3:30pm and only operate from Monday to Friday so the afternoons and weekends are all yours.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: A minimum of two years of experience in a commercial food production environment, whether that's within food processing or as a kitchen hand or cook in a cafe, bakery, hotel, restaurant, or food manufacturing facility.A thorough understanding of food hygiene practices. You know how to keep a clean workstation.An enthusiastic, upbeat, and hardworking attitude. This is a big one for us. Our small team is a positive and friendly bunch, so if you tend to have a negative outlook, communicate through grunts, or dislike taking direction, this may not be the right role for you.Showing initiative and being proactive. If you notice something out of place or needing attention, we're on the hunt for people who take action or bring it to our attention.Excellent communication skills. We value communicating in a helpful and friendly manner.Reliability. We're looking for people who are keen to work, arrive to shifts, and don't let the team down.HOURS & PAY: Starting rate of $29.33 per hour.
Five days per week, 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
