Must have a Baseline Security Clearance.Location of work: Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, remoteRoles and ResponsibilitiesTakes technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development.Plans and drives software construction activities in accordance with ATO IT standards and best practice.Measures and monitors applications of project/team standards for software construction including software security.
Contributes expertise to the development of policies, standards, and guidelines for software development.Leads investigations, undertakes technical research and analysis activities, or provides professional advice within an area of specialisation based on policy and legislation.Identifies and resolves issues with code, develops Continuous Improvement processes and carries out maintenance tasks using agreed procedures.Participates in the development lifecycle which may include analysis, design, build, peer review, testing, documenting, implementation, and maintenance.Provides advice and undertakes more complex activities associated with developing and/or supporting project delivery.Technical Skills Required:Mainframe – COBOLPowerShell, PythonAdditional Information:Kirra Services acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
