As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient web applications that contribute to the organisation's goals.
You play a key role in designing and implementing user-facing components and developing scalable APIs while ensuring they align with agile principles, industry standards, and software lifecycle practices.
Mandatory Requirements Government Clearance : Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline government or NV-1 clearance.
Citizenship Requirement : Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
Experience and Skills Experience with NodeJS: Proficient in working with NodeJS to support front-end and back-end integration.
Agile Experience: Hands-on experience working within agile development environments.
Software Lifecycle Expertise: Knowledge of secure software lifecycle practices, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Frameworks & Standards: Familiarity with industry frameworks (such as ITIL or similar) to guide development improvements.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, along with an ability to resolve technical issues.
Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills, working independently or within a team.
Desired Attributes and Skills Degree in IT / Software Engineering Experience working in government or public sector environments.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them in front-end development.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
