The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and as part of an experienced team, you will work closely with the Maintenance Fitters and Production Operators to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner. A focus of this role and our Maintenance team is to ensure the ongoing availability, reliability, and capability of the plants process, systems, and equipment.
Hours: Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Key responsibilities:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with plant and machinery. Responding to breakdowns through prioritising and carrying out repairs in a safe manner. Conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions. Develop & maintain close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance and Production teams. Completion of all documentation and record-keeping requirements in a timely manner. About You
Electrical Trade Certificate/Licence Demonstrated experience as an Electrician in a food manufacturing environment PLC Knowledge essential Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, with a solution-based mindset. A continuous improvement approach to all tasks with a can-do attitude. Please note: As a pre-requisite for this role, you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol screening.
