A loving family in Kingston, Tasmania are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to assist in the care of their 15-month-old baby boy.An ideal nanny would be warm, calm, and responsive. A nanny that is also friendly, happy, and interested to actively engage in indoor and outdoor activities with the baby which will aid in his growth and development.The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable and is able to care for the baby throughout the day and follow routines.Prior experience or professional qualifications working with young babies is highly advantageous for this role.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the babyFollow the baby's routinePlay and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the baby's developmentTake the baby out for walks/to the park/playground, activities, etc.Prepare meals and snacks for the babyGeneral tidying up after the baby and light household choresContract: Long Term / Permanent RoleThe days and normal hours are: 2 days – 10 hours per week (Between Mon-Fri)Flexible days/hours for the right candidate.Additional hours may be required from time to time in the evening if the nanny is available.Long term, the hours are likely to increase to 3 full days.The family's expectations from their nanny are:3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child careChildcare qualification preferred but not essentialHave a current first aid certificateHave a current Working with Children's checkDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishComfortable with dogs; the family has two lovely dogs (Boxer and Westie)Basic cooking/prep skillsFull Drivers License and clean driving recordJob Reference: LLK185Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
