Our client is one of the world's leading insurance providers, listed on the stock exchange and operating on a large scale in many countries across all continents of the globe.
The organisation continues to expand at a rapid rate in many regions, one of those being Australia and New Zealand, where they have recently completed the fit-out of a new head office location in the Melbourne CBD.
As part of this upcoming move to new premises and due to the ongoing growth of the organisation within the ANZ region, the newly created position of Workplace Experience Expert and ANZ Events Manager has been created and will play an integral role within the business across all of ANZ.
The Role
The role will have the exciting job of managing all company events ANZ wide, which will include the creation of events from planning through to execution. Previous experience in designing and delivering corporate events is a must. This is an exciting chance for a self-starter with exceptional time management skills to bring a combination of creativity and experience into what will be a busy and unique role.
In addition, the role will also lead the management of the new Melbourne CBD office space, ensuring that fellow staff have a safe, warm, and enjoyable space to collaborate.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Event Management: design, plan, coordinate and deliver onsite and off-site events ANZ wide. Facilities Management: Oversee daily operations, office supplies and workplace experience. Administration: Utilise enterprise systems to manage service and accounts-based reporting/tasks. OHS: Act as the Melbourne safety representative and ensure all staff and visitors adhere to protocols. Customer Service: Support the onboarding of new staff and ensure all stakeholders receive exceptional service. The Person In this role, you will be key in supporting every aspect of operations and events within a dynamic organisation that operates at a fast pace. This will require a forward-thinking and energetic professional that is confident in themselves and their experience. In essence, you will be the internal spokesperson championing organisational culture and positivity in the workplace whilst also planning and delivering memorable events for fellow staff and external customers, and this will require:
Extensive experience in managing complex corporate events. Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to interface with senior executives. Confidence, articulation, and ability to problem-solve whilst working under pressure. Previous experience in corporate services or workplace roles. Energetic, enthusiastic and show a pro-active attitude to your work. A highly autonomous nature and exceptional time and task management skills. Expertise in utilising enterprise software for managing events and workplace services.
