We are collaborating with an innovative organization on a flagship program driving the development of Military Systems for the Defence industry.
We are seeking multiple contractors with software backgrounds and varying levels of experience, from junior to senior engineers, who are interested in joining the program in the new year.
All positions will be contracts, offering hourly rates. Contract lengths range in length, often starting short (> 6 months) and extending thereafter.
Contracts are due to kick off in January/February at this stage. Hence, we are seeking candidates who are looking to make a move in the new year.
Highlights: 2025 Start Brand new Defence acquisition program SA based, Mawson Lakes Open to varying levels of experience NV1 Clearance or above required Skills and Experience: Experience with C#, C++ or Java A familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, NodeJS, Bash, Powershell or others Experience working in a full stack development environment Experience with cloud services and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Familiarity with DevSecOps Experience or openness to work in Agile environment Passion for staying current with emerging technologies and tools in software development Interested in working within a project-based environment and working towards team objectives Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) systems About You: Innovative thinker intrigued by challenges Exposure to working on complex Systems for Defence Excellent written and verbal communication skills NV1 or NV2 security clearance Ability to meet ITAR requirements Interested in contract positions and ready for a change Due to the nature of clients and projects we work with here at Kinexus, an Australian Citizenship is essential.
