Coinciding with the launch of a new product, we are looking to bring talent on board that will continue to grow our business and reputation in the expanding market. The Role
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Braddon, ACT. You will be working as an integral part of the business where you will be overseeing and managing a software engineering team, sales and administrative staff. With a close-knit team of 15 talented professionals, we focus on delivering high-quality solutions and fostering a collaborative work environment.
We are looking for a versatile Business Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our business. Your responsibilities will include:
Participating as a member of the leadership team to develop plans and strategies. Managing the software development team with accountability for performance management, coaching/mentoring, personal development and the setting and reviewing of individual KPIs. Participating in the development and innovation of procedures and policies. Managing the Customer Service team through the presale stage to ensure requirements are met and equipment delivered in a timely manner, as well as ensuring industry leading communication throughout the whole process. Continuously monitoring operational systems and procedures for opportunities to improve functions. Who are you?
This opportunity will be best suited to an individual who possesses highly developed leadership and project management skills with the ability to inspire and manage people in a challenging and stimulating environment. We require a candidate who is able to effectively prioritise simultaneous projects and handle continuously changing priorities, while making sound judgements under pressure. You'll drive strategy and implementation to allow us to reach our growth targets.
Experience leading teams is essential, as is a hands-on, "get into the trenches" work ethic. Your teams are already dedicated and experienced, but as with all Teams, require support, guidance, and a great manager.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in managing internal teams on projects at different stages of delivery. Strong customer service skills. Interest in sport/weight lifting/CrossFit and tech start-ups. A problem solver, able to bring innovative ideas and solutions. Outstanding communication. Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties.
