Kindergarten Assistant

Toobeah kindergarten are looking for a motivated and passionate Assistant Educator/Teacher for a community focused centre located in Toobeah. The team is enthusiastic and welcoming and the service has a beautiful relaxed and homely feel.
Staff are valued and supported and encouraged to perform at their highest standard. Our current amazing educator has been with us for 3 years but is sadly moving away. If you are an experienced Assistant Educator/Teacher with a positive and enthusiastic attitude who wants to make a real difference, this role is for you!
Position: Permanent Part-Time Position 2 days (16 hours per week) with additional programming time and the option for more hours cleaning or facilitating In-Venue Care. The position will commence in term 1, 2025.
You will need: Diploma level qualification recognised by ACECQA preferred or Certificate 3 and willing to study Diploma.Current First Aid, CPR, asthma & anaphylaxis certificatesCurrent Blue CardIdeally three years of experience as an Assistant Educator/Teacher but not essential.Possess excellent communication, organisation and time management skillsAbility to plan and evaluate for the childrenA sound knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning FrameworkMost importantly, a passion for working with children and a commitment to your roleDuties: Engage in activities for childrenUnderstand and meet compliance obligations as per the National law/regulations and centre policiesAssist the DirectorAssist in the centres daily routines and processesWages are offered at above award rates.
