We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to assist at our after-school classes in Term 1 2025!Is this you?Enjoy working with kids (ages 5-12) to build their knowledge and confidenceKeen to use technology in fun and creative waysAble to engage with kids, motivate and manage them within a classroom environmentTrustworthy, independent, punctual and reliableAvailable during after-school hours approx. 3:00pm to 5:00pm on a weekday as a weekly class for Term 1 2025Able and willing to travel to a school location for a 2 hour shift - with an opportunity for more shifts on other days in the surrounding area.Required Skills:Experience or enjoy working with primary-aged kidsTech savvy, ability to troubleshoot and problem solveBeginner coding knowledge (preferred) - drag and drop/block codingMust be confident in speaking in front of a small group of children and delivering provided lesson plans in a fun and engaging wayMature outlook, common sense and ability to identify and take action to manage risk and ensure active supervision of children inside the classroomFluent conversational EnglishEmployee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain it immediatelyMust own or be willing to obtain a laptop with the ability to connect to a HDMI portAbout the position:Deliver and facilitate our lesson plans to a class solo or in a team each week.Set up and pack away equipment (all provided by Code Camp)Engaging with the students in a fun and safe way inside and outside the classroomKeeping in contact with Head Office if you have any questions or concerns via SlackComplete staff training prior to first session (this is completed online at your convenience)What we do: Code Camp is a company that offers coding and creative school holiday and after-school programs to kids aged 5-12yrs.
