Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology) Full time KeyWatcher Australia has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Security Administrator to join our fast-growing team in Sydney.
About Us KeyWatcher Australia is a 25-year-old stalwart of the Electronic Key Management business, boasting an A-list of customers including Airports, Casinos, Federal Government, State Government, Banks, Mines, Corrections & Courts, Defence Sites, Major Retail & Universities.
KeyWatcher Australia has recently acquired the business responsible for the development and operations of the Cloud-Based Platform - "Keymaas" on which the KeyWatcher key Cabinet operates. The Keymaas software Development Team is based in Melbourne, and the Keymaas Operations team responsible for the platform's Infrastructure and Security is based in Sydney.
This role is essential in ensuring all parts of the IT infrastructure are secure, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities Proactively assess and enforce cyber security best practices and internal policies to protect our infrastructure. Maintain and document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Oversee & monitor the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. Collaborate with the broader IT management team and Level 1 and Level 2 support teams. Implement and manage security controls - applying appropriate methodologies across the various security levels across our systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Required Experience and Skills The successful candidate will need to demonstrate 3-5 years of IT experience - including network, mobile, and/or application security.
The following skills sets are mandatory:
Cloud Security (e.g., AWS, AZURE, CASB) Endpoint Security (AV, HIPS, MDM, Patching, etc.) Network Security (Layer 3 Networks, Firewalls, IPS, NAC, WAF) The following skill sets would be considered favorably:
Data Security (DLP, Encryption) Access Control (MFA, PMA, SSO, etc.) A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar would be considered favorably.
To Set you Apart Excellent COMMUNICATION SKILLS, including written skills to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to PROJECT MANAGE, coupled with strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities to navigate project priorities amongst diverse opinions.
In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of ISO 27001.
