The Senior Village Manager is responsible for implementing operational plans and overseeing the day-to-day activities across their villages including the operation and financial performance of allocated villages. The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Supervise and oversee the Village Managers and daily operations of the villagesContribute to the development of the Village ManagersImplementation of the operational plan for the villages and monitoring the performance of the planReview capital expenditures of the villages as appropriate in line with the budgetActively manage asset risks and facilitate village budget preparation process and delivery against budgetEnsure village maintenance is within accordance with the overall Asset Plan and manage and oversee compliance to ensure EHS standards are metOversee reporting process of village performance and communicate these reports to appropriate employees, supporting sales to ensure projected revenue is achievedImplement effective resident management to foster strong customer relationships and provide a pleasant, stimulating and caring environment for residents and staffManage the performance and development of direct reports, coaching, mentoring and building the skill sets required to ensure that employees are adequately resourced to performThe successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to sites across Central Coast and Hunter region. About You Your proactive and driven attitude will see you succeed in the team, as well as an ability to work autonomously to deliver wellbeing outcomes. Effective stakeholder engagement, strong communication and team management will be key to your success in this role, as will:
Strong leadership capability with a preference for adopting a collaborative approach to decision making and focus on delivering resultsExperience in a village management role, and/or knowledge of retirement and property management industries along with asset and/or community service principlesStrong financial reporting and budget management skillsPossessing an in-depth understanding of the Retirement Living Act and have proven experience in its implementationAdvanced interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholdersA current Australian Driving LicenceAsset and property management experience is desirable (preferably in Retirement or Hospitality industry) in a leadership/senior management capacity.Ready to Join the Fun?
