The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedICT Procurement Category Manager to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension. You will be able to hit the ground running delivering fit for purpose strategies and solutions within Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Services, in support of Keyton Corporate and Retirement Village Operations, whilst following the Procurement team's ethos of delivering and enhancing value for Keyton, community and planet.
ICT Services at Keyton include but are not limited to software, telecommunications platforms (phone, emergency call systems, building management systems), hardware and some OT.
This position can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
Your key accountabilities in this role will include:
Category planning and management in line with both Procurement and business objectives; Conducting RFx exercises for a range of goods and services with complex technical specifications; Collaborating with internal stakeholders within IT, Village Operations and Keyton Corporate to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that align to business objectives; Identifying and mitigating risks associated with all procurement activities, including compliance with relevant Keyton policies and industry regulations; Identifying opportunities to increase Keyton's engagement with First Nations and/or Social Enterprises, with regards to resellers; Managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier relationship management; Proactively managing the portfolio utilising spend analytics and contracts data; Achieving a balance of commercial and sustainable value from all sourcing activities; Leading high-value, business critical negotiations; Providing strategic recommendations based on in depth analysis and expert insights; Understanding the risk level of suppliers relating to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, financial/commercial, third party, modern slavery and/or compliance perspective; Supporting compliance with Keyton's Modern Slavery statement, by ensuring stakeholders align to the Statement, understand and uphold our key commitments; Conducting industry assessments and staying abreast of industry trends, risks and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement within the ICT Services sub-categories. Who You Are The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years experience in ICT Services, IT/OT procurement
Experience in a greenfield procurement environment, highly desirable. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse cost vs risk trade-offs; Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders; Ability to understand commercial contract terms and provide appropriate advice; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communication sills Strategic thinker able to solve problems in complex, technical and/or ambiguous situations; Strong project management skills and/or understanding of project management methodologies; Highly skilled at analysing data and sharing insights with a non-procurement audience.
