Our practices are growing, and we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Tutor Sonographer to join our team.
At High St Xray, we love what we do and are proud to be delivering state-of-the-art medical imaging to the wider Bendigo community. We are passionate about providing a service that delights both our patients and referring practitioners.
Our High St Xray clinic has been built for patient, referrer and staff satisfaction alike, and boasts the latest equipment with 2 digital x-ray rooms, 2 MRIs, 7 Ultrasound suites, Dexa, OPG, interventional radiology, and low dose CT.
Tasks & Duties
Perform high quality ultrasound scans in a range of examinations, ensuring exemplary patient care whilst respecting patient privacy and security. Responsible for the primary teaching and support of ultrasound trainees, ensuring all training complies with relevant university course requirements and regular performance appraisals are undertaken. Maintain the ultrasound induction and CPD program and lead regular in-house educational sessions for both qualified and trainee sonographers. Actively contribute to the review and maintenance of current procedures, protocols and worksheets to ensure the business remains up to date with best practice. Work collaboratively with other supportive and passionate sonographers, radiographers, receptionists and radiologists. Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified sonographer with a minimum of 5 years post grad experience. You will have a passion for teaching, previous experience in training students and an advanced command of sonographic techniques employed to image various body regions. Current accreditation with the ASAR is mandatory.
