Key Stage 2 Teaching AssistantNextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in West Leeds, close to Bradford, who are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:Assist with the planning of learning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans and learning outcomes.Assist pupils' achievements by monitoring, supporting, and having strong communication with the class teacher.Lead individual/small groups of children in teacher-led learning activities such as guiding reading and math interventions.Assist and support with SAT's preparation through interventions and mentoring.Maintain the upkeep of classroom resources and preparation of materials (e.g. books, pencils, art supplies, games, P.E activity set up, etc.).Support children with their independence and confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.Support the children with the preparation for entering secondary school.If you are interested in this position and would like to discuss further, please contact Mollie Smith at NextGen Teachers at (url removed) or call on (phone number removed).
