Our main manufacturing and operations base is located at YATALA in Queensland (between the Gold Coast and Brisbane). We are only a 10-minute drive North of Dreamworld, on the M1 Motorway.THE ROLE:Reporting directly to the General Manager/Director and working consultatively with other members of company management, the successful candidate will work across a scope of duties, company systems, continual improvement efforts and special projects. They will be a proactive and visible figure in our workplace, directly assisting team members in:Leading and supporting company key projects (new assembly and packaging facility layout, key OEM projects)Procurement of new equipment related to the new facility.Project coordination, process planning, and relocation of processes/equipment.WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:(Candidates are encouraged to respond to each of the below points when making their application)Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering and/or high-volume assembly work environments2D AUTOCAD experience - a mustQualifications and extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Processes will be highly regardedPrevious work experience in Six Sigma practices will be highly regardedOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in building open, positive stakeholder relationshipsWell-developed analytical and reporting skills, with an emphasis on precision, accuracy and concision. Accomplishment in the MS Suite of programs is required, in particular: intermediate MS Excel skillsCandidate must be available for work Monday to Friday, between 7:00am to 4:00pm.
