From 1 January 2025, we'll be integrating and developing a range ofservices, including foster care, kinship care, family preservation andafter care.
We are seeking expressions of interest for this unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of our ACT inception!
Reporting to the Territory Director, the Program Manager will work in partnership with the department (including placement coordination), lead sector partnerships and engagement and work collaboratively within KAA -playing a keyrole in promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people.The role will oversee programs across the ACT, providing leadership across our frontline services.
Other key responsibilities include:
Take responsibility for the territory-wide operations of theFostering, Kinship Care, After Care and Sustaining Families Program Provide quality practice leadership, expert case practice adviceand decision-making on escalated high-risk cases Monitor compliance with Funding Agreements and ensure allstate-wide and regional funding requirements, KPIs, and placement targetsare met. The salary for this position is $128,294 - $133,648/annum (inc. super) + salary packaging options. This position is full-time,ongoing.
About you To be successful in this role, you'll come with:
Recognised Social Work Qualification (Psychology, Counselling,Behavioural Science, or other relevant degree) At least 5 years' experience as a qualified practitioner in achildren and family setting Experience in child protection, including working in people'shomes or in outreach settings Minimum 3 years' experience managing staff,including all aspects of staff supervision and management duties Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and best practicesin children's services, including child safeguarding My Key Assets The health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee andclient experience.
