The National Yancoal Key Account Manager position is a critical position responsible for managing and nurturing business relationships across all NSW Yancoal sites.
They will also be accountable for growing the aftermarket parts and service business, while continuing to promote Komatsu's products and services to maintain sales growth.
The position's responsibility is to ensure that the customer's needs are met by ensuring the implementation of value creation objectives while adhering to KAL policy.
Implementing efficiency, standardisation and planning across all sites.
Your responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining strong business relationships with Yancoal management and site stakeholders.Building sales cycles and funnels to develop call schedules and regular catchups to review Komatsu's deliverables.Developing and implementing standardised processes across sites.Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain sales targets and growth.Assisting in implementing strategies to improve and maintain machine availability.Developing and implementing CI activities to meet customer's goals.Attending or chairing both internal and external meetings, ensuring allocations of responsibility and deadlines are clearly stated and agreed upon.Compiling monthly reports for aftermarket division managers on warranty jobs, claims and reimbursement processes.What we are looking for: Proven track record in Sales / Account Management positions ideally within Heavy Machinery / Manufacturing industries.Ability to identify business opportunities and build effective strategies to capture opportunities.Ability to liaise with senior leadership team and key client organisations in a professional manner.Ability to understand systems and business processes and provide recommendations.Experience in reporting and managing financial statements that measure sales, profits, labor expenses, etc.Leadership / Management experience with the ability to delegate tasks and mentor more junior team members.Strong negotiation and closing skills.A self-motivated individual with a drive to achieve and exceed sales budgets and targets.Komatsu is an industry-leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment, technologies and services for the construction, forklift, mining, industrial and forestry markets.
