About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced full time Key Account Manager (Monday to Friday) to manage a territory across NSW and SA. The position will be based via a home office but with regular contact with the operational team at our Mt Kuring-Gai site in NSW.Frequent onsite travel to hospitals across both NSW and SA is an essential part of this role, and a vehicle allowance will be provided. If based in NSW, travel to SA will typically involve flights, usually spanning a few days and may require few nights away from home. This occurs approximately every 10 weeks as part of a predictable cyclic routine.The successful candidate must be customer focused, able to problem solve and work collaboratively across pharmacy, quality and operational areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships within hospitals, including pharmacy, procurement and other healthcare professionals across NSW and SA.Achieve sales budget according to assigned goals and analyse sales performance metrics for ongoing improvement.Increase market share and gain new accounts through effective management practices.Engage with healthcare professionals and customers to promote the key clinical and commercial benefits of Slade's services.Management and support of key public and private hospital contracts, and facilitation of tender submissions and proposals.Coordinate interaction between the various functions within Slade Health and Slade Pharmacy to ensure contract management is aligned.Customer management including co-ordination of training, clinical and technical support of Slade's customised programs.Ensure up to date knowledge of industry changes, including the PBS and new product development.Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in marketing, sales, science or relevant discipline.Extensive sales experience, principally in Medical/Healthcare sector.Budget and business planning experience.Delivering sales results and strategic organisational objectives as outlined by senior management.Demonstrated experience in managing sales and accounts.Product and hospital knowledge and experience.Experience with hospital and state tenders.Demonstrated analytical skills.Negotiation skills and commercial acumen.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Competent computer literacy including experience in Excel, Powerpoint and Word programs.Exceptional customer service and client management skills.Proven implementation of developing and securing new initiatives.Current Drivers' Licence.How to ApplyHave you ticked all the above boxes?
