Key Account Manager - SALES - Technical productWith a reputation for quality and service, this market-leading company now has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager/Sales executive to join their busy, high-performing team.
The main function of this role is to nurture existing accounts as well as support new clients.
Driving growth initiatives, working to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, as well as providing sales projections to the national Sales Manager.Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Identifying new business opportunities and actively following up potential customersAttending trade shows and events and representing the business in a professional mannerServicing and developing existing customer baseAligning sales with corporate objectivesResponding to all phone/fax/email sales enquiries in a timely mannerPreparing sales reports as well as providing accurate sales projection forecastsMaintaining and expanding customer relationshipsSuccessfully meeting and exceeding KPI'sIncreasing market shareProactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate sales activityEnsuring customer base is regularly updated with product information and new promotionsIdentifying and making recommendations regarding marketing initiativesStaying up to date and informed with competitor activity and future worksTo be successful in this role, a proven track record in a dedicated Sales role is essential as well as experience in the electrical space.
You also need to demonstrate tenacity and the ability to succeed within a competitive industry.This role will be highly autonomous and requires a self-starter and someone driven to succeed without being micro-managed.Other attributes to excel in this role include:Demonstrated experience (minimum three years) in a Sales-focused roleExperience in the electrical industry highly advantageousCRM and funnel management skills are criticalStrong client liaison and relationship-building skillsResults-orientedWillingness to travel - fortnightly to monthlyAbility to multitask and think on your feetPositive attitude and the ability to keep cool under pressureExcellent communication and negotiation skillsIT literateExcellent team player who is positive, proactive, and results-drivenThis is an excellent opportunity to join a successful team where you will have autonomy and variety in your role.
