About Us : Supplying products In, on and around Concrete About You : NA Position Summary : A Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with the organization's most important clients, known as key accounts.
This role involves a combination of strategic planning, sales expertise, relationship management, and coordination with other departments to ensure the successful delivery of products or services.
In addition to Account Management, you will seek out and build new business and accounts for the company.
Your day-to-day duties start with managing and servicing the needs of current customers and projects, moving onto developing new customers and projects alongside our Business Development Manager.
You will need to know your marketplace well, and then work to become familiar and ever-present with similar potential clients who do not yet do business with our company.
You therefore need strong interpersonal sales skills to pitch our business to potential new clients and to skilfully differentiate our goods or services from the competition's products.
You must also possess excellent analytical skills as you must be able to spot trends and look for ways to increase sales performance outside of current revenue streams.
Key Requirements : Adequate amount of experience and knowledge in solution selling & Account Managment Has experience in building relationships with potential clients via cold calls, networking and other avenues Has ability to up and cross sell to new and existing clients Has developed sales channels within desired client segments Experience in developing new sales strategies and plans A good understanding of marketing basics Confident negotiation skills A sound understanding of current trends and consumer requirements Capable of preparing client proposals to a professional standard Proven ability to analyse processes and ensure continuous improvement Systematic approach to sales processes and business development Excellent interpersonal/telephone skills and intuition Ability to generate ideas for business improvement Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Persistent approach to time management High levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness Excellent planning, organisation and computer skills High degree of accountability and attention to detail Job Responsibility : Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Understand the client's business goals, challenges, and needs to provide effective solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor, anticipating and addressing client needs.
Monitor account performance, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
Identify new opportunities for revenue generation within existing accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product development, etc.)
to align client objectives with company offerings.
Provide insights and recommendations to clients for business growth and improvement.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Manage and grow the revenue stream for key accounts by upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to meet both client and company objectives.
Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and reports to key stakeholders.
Track sales performance and report on KPIs, revenue forecasts, and sales activity.
Client Satisfaction & Retention: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Proactively address potential issues to prevent client churn.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, discuss performance, and explore new opportunities.
Collaboration & Internal Communication: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services to clients.
Coordinate with the customer service team to resolve client issues and enhance service delivery.
Share feedback from clients with relevant internal teams to drive product or service improvements.
