What will you do? You will be responsible for servicing and promoting sales to, and development of, current and new customers in Australia. The job includes but is not limited to:
Project management in relation to seasonal product launches and new product development.Negotiation with customers on existing and future trading terms.Close collaboration with the dedicated support office team in Denmark.Ensure our customers have a high degree of satisfaction with the service you deliver, both in terms of professional knowledge, number of visits, and your ability to efficiently follow up on your visits.
In the role, you will need to travel a minimum of 80 days a year, primarily in Australia, but also to Europe and China to attend the world's largest furniture trade shows.
Please note: This is a home office-based role, so whenever you are not travelling, you are able to work from your home office. Be aware that the job includes many late-night meetings with the teams in Denmark, and you will have to be available day and night by phone.
Part of your first period of employment will require travel to Actona Group's Head Office in Denmark for approximately 2-3 weeks to complete an extensive onboarding program. Furthermore, follow-up product and sales training in Denmark and China must be expected within the early stages of your employment.
Who are you? We are an enthusiastic, driven, and very successful team looking for someone who possesses the following minimum skills to succeed in the role:
A proven track history of being a self-starter and self-motivating in similar roles, working out of your home office multiple days per week.Experience working with a furniture company at B2B level is advantageous.Extensive experience with Scandinavian furniture and home design.Must have experience working evening hours daily due to the time zone difference to the head office in Denmark (12 hours).Ability to travel a minimum of 80 days per year, both locally and internationally.A proven history of Sales and Account Management at an enterprise level.Holistic understanding of product market, supply chain, and the value of working cross-functionally within the company.Solid analytical skills, commercial acumen, planning capability, and problem-solving ability.Ability to manage change, multi-task, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Experience in project management.Experience with compliance and contracts will be an advantage.Must be an Australian citizen or have rights to work in Australia.If we have Caught your interest, please click Apply Now:
