We attribute our ongoing growth in the kitchen equipment and supplies industry to our number one asset - our people.As part of the Nisbets Portfolio Team, the Key Account Manager will contact, visit and present to key contacts of large potential spend outlets and account groups. In addition to growing the existing portfolio of customers, the KAM will be prospecting for new customer opportunities and introducing the Nisbets suite of products within their respective territory. This role will manage customers within the Hunter and Central Coast regions and will have a mix of working in the field, visiting our in-region retail outlets and working from home.THE ROLEThe key focus areas of the role include:to carry out customer visits for the purpose of presenting the Nisbets range and sales offersto maintain regular contact with key contactsto prepare and maintain accurate customer recordsto grow National Groups within the assigned portfolio and to build on current relationshipsto prospect new customers and follow up leads to convert; utilising a lead conversion planner and an agreed call scheduleRegional travel to visit customers once every 6-8 weeks or as agreed with the National Sales Managerto champion our Company ValuesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDThe successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Minimum of 2 years experience in sales dealing with a portfolio of customersComprehensive background in developing new business relationshipsStrong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsHigh-level of communication skills both verbal and writtenGood command of Microsoft Office packages and ordering systemsGood stakeholder engagement experience, and willing to work both within an immediate and cross-functional teamCertificate level of education, Diploma, Degree or equivalent in Business and/or Sales (desired)Current NSW driver's license.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOWNisbets are committed to unlocking your full potential.
