Keolis Downer (KD) is a leading private provider of multimodal public transport in Australia, working collaboratively with State Governments to develop transport solutions that are tailored for all passengers, regardless of their background. In Adelaide, KD partnered with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport in early 2021 with the aim of delivering revitalised passenger train services to the local community and increasing public transport patronage across South Australia.
Following recent business changes, KD will take on the critical role of custodian of the local network over the next decade, with a focus on asset management and maintenance . In the shorter term, KD will continue to focus on the provision of customer experience and security services for the next two years.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to be the face of the company at our Dry Creek office. If you have an inviting and welcoming personality, initiative, time management, and a positive work ethic, you might be the right fit for this role! Manage the reception which includes welcoming visitors, answering incoming phone calls, and acting as the first point of contact for the public inquiries inbox. Arrange staff incentives; staff and event catering, reward, and recognition. Assist with planning of events. Book and coordinate travel and accommodation for the business. Maintain a clean and safe standard of the office and kitchen areas; ordering stationery, uniforms, PPE, and office supplies, and coordinating deliveries. Backfill Executive Assistants and support with other general administration tasks. Utilize a problem-solving approach to challenges, with creativity and resourcefulness to find optimal solutions. This is a full-time permanent position working at our Dry Creek office on a Monday to Friday basis. About you
Experience in face-to-face customer service and thrive on connecting with people. Champion the company values and lead with positivity. Enjoy a wide variety of work and bring a willingness to learn, grow, and develop. Excellent organisational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities. Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of people, including the ability to liaise effectively at all levels, listen to stakeholders, handle sensitive or difficult issues with tact and diplomacy, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Produce accurate and quality work, with great attention to detail. Commitment to safety and our Keolis Downer Values.
