The Opportunity: Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, the Commercial Manager is a key player in supporting the Australia Defence & Security Solutions (ADSS) Commercial Function. This senior role involves managing all commercial and contractual aspects, working with both internal teams and external stakeholders to tackle complex challenges.
The key responsibilities of the role include: Develop, negotiate, review, and manage contracts to minimise risks and maximise opportunities. Handle client concerns quickly and effectively. Lead negotiations on subcontracts and purchase orders. Create and manage subcontracts to meet project and organisational standards. Oversee the commercial side of contracts for various projects. Identify and manage project commercial risks. Collaborate with different teams across the business to ensure project support. As the ideal candidate you will bring: Essential: Active AGSVA security clearance Bachelor's degree in Business, Law or Finance or relevant professional experience 10+ years of experience in Defence and Government commercial management or procurement Demonstrated experience in negotiation Well-developed communication skills Experienced user of MS Office products.
