About Centrecare Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with just over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services in over 11 locations across the Perth metropolitan, Goldfields and South West regions.
We are looking for experienced and qualified applicants to join our regional branches located in Kalgoorlie/Boulder, Leonora to deliver quality mental health services for disadvantaged, vulnerable or hard to reach individuals throughout the Goldfields region. Available Positions: Child Contact Supervisor - Part time (availability to work during weekends and public holidays)Counsellors - Full timeCase Workers - Full timeFinancial Counsellor - Full timeFamily Dispute Resolution Practitioner – Full timeSelection Criteria Summary: Child Contact Supervisor - Level 3: Recognised qualification in Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work or Social Sciences or relevant experience in related disciplines.Ability to be impartial and flexible, work effectively in a stressful environment and deal confidently with clients in a human service setting.Knowledge of problems associated with separated parents in high conflict and the impact of this on children.Recognised tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work/Sciences, Mental Health, Counselling, Childhood Development and/or Family studies and related disciplines or equivalent.Relevant experience in working with children and families with complex needs e.g. domestic violence, homelessness, abuse, schooling issues. Whereby service design was inclusive of social, emotional, mental, and physical needs.Experience in case management and coordination of client services.A minimum of a Diploma in the field of Mental Health, Social Work, Community Services, Counselling or equivalent.A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a mental health related service.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding around case managing vulnerable, disadvantaged and complex needs clients.Experience and/or understanding of working with remote Aboriginal communities and their unique needs.Financial Counsellor - Level 5: Diploma in Financial Counselling.Current registration with the Financial Counsellors Association of Western Australia.Experience in providing financial counselling to clients in financial crisis.Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner - Level 5: Recognised tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline.Currently registered as a family dispute resolution practitioner.Experience in providing counselling to individuals, couples and families.Knowledge of relationship and parenting issues.Experience in Primary Dispute Resolution (mediation).You will be asked to provide: Working rights for Australia.Working with Children Check (if you have one).National Police Clearance (within 12 months validity).Qualifications relevant to position requirements.Benefits: Comprehensive professional development and training.Four weeks annual leave inclusive of a 17.5% leave loading.Five days additional paid leave.Twelve weeks paid Maternity Leave.Discounted corporate health cover by Bupa and Medibank.Study leave of five hours per week after two years of service.Insurance cover to and from work.Clinical and Management Supervision (for Counsellors).Employee Assistance Program.How to Apply: Click apply to be directed to our online jobs board to view further details on the vacancy and to complete your application.
