With approximately 450 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 10 liquor stores, 3 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store.
The Co-op generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k each year to local charities.

Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager at our Millstream Fuel and Convenience Centre , located at 2320 Millstream Rd.
Victoria, BC V9B 3R3 .
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working a range of 32 - 40 hours each week.
Our ideal candidate has full availability to accommodate a flexible schedule throughout the week, evenings and weekends are a must!

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader to join our team.
Our next Assistant Manager is:
Always helpful, goes out of their way to assist others and is consistently polite.
Loves to organize and lead a team of people and is comfortable ensuring staff are productive and held to high standards.
Experienced prioritizing and delegating duties and holding teams accountable.
Enjoys the great outdoors!
Rain, wind, snow and blazing hot sun mean nothing.
Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
Able to be on their feet nearly all their shift & consistently lifting and handling product (up to 40 pounds).
Safety oriented.
Values integrity and honesty and leads by example.
It would be great if you know your way around under the hood of a car!
Don't worry if you don't, we train for this!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supporting the Manager, the Assistant Manager acts in a leadership capacity to ensure the effective operation of the site.
Key areas of responsibility include ensuring a pleasant, comfortable, and safe experience for our customers; being a leader to the team, providing support to enable them to do their jobs and develop their skills; ensuring the store is well merchandised, stocked, organized, spotlessly clean and adequately staffed; and administrative tasks like ordering, pricing and inventory.
The Assistant Manager will assist with recruitment, performance planning and reviews, period end and inventory management.
