We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from SENIOR PROJECT PLANNER/SCHEDULERS to effectively balance both technical Project planning skills and practical site experience for existing and upcoming SMP Construction Projects.

KEY REQUIREMENTS Engage with key disciplines to guarantee all relevant members contribute effectively to schedule development. Develop and submit the Baseline Schedule to clients, including the Basis of Schedule as needed. Generate weekly and monthly reports as required by the Contract and Project Managers. Identify program slippages through onsite inspections and create recovery schedules. Produce daily productivity reports, highlighting areas of concern regarding progress and performance. Develop operational reports in consultation with the Site Manager addressing issues impacting site progress. Coordinate with clients to address challenges and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. ABOUT YOU You will be a seasoned Planner with 8+ years of experience (at least 5 years at a Senior level) in Project Planning (not maintenance planning). SMP experience in Construction is essential working in Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Energy or heavy Industrial industries. Degree qualifications or Trade background (preferred) with a strong understanding of site operations. Site experience (min. 3 years essential) to understand the sequence of work & how long tasks take to schedule effectively. Must have significant experience working for a Contractor. Project experience to enable development and ownership of a resource and equipment loaded detailed execution / construction schedule. Proven experience with lump sum schedule management. Proven ability to liaise with senior management and supervision to pro-actively implement change as necessary to ensure work is completed on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Proficiency in P6 (essential). MS Project (highly desirable). You will be primarily based at Naval Base with potential site visits (and/or able to work a site roster) depending on project requirements. Strong command of English with the ability to confidently challenge and drive schedules. Able to manage a broad range of team dynamics.
