Expressions are sought for one temporary full-time Regional Director (SO) position for the North Queensland Region commencing forthwith to 02/05/2025, with a possibility of extension.

As the Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of justice services through operational leadership and management. The position is also responsible for contributing to the implementation of government and departmental priorities, including renewal and reform initiatives. As part of the CSQ leadership group, the Regional Director will lead, develop and implement CSQ's strategic initiatives and contribute to organisational outcomes across the state.
The Regional Director is responsible for leading change and ensuring the strategic alignment of their region with the overall organisational vision.
The position is based at the Cairns Magistrates Court. Travel to other locations may also be required on occasion.
The role reports to the Senior Director Court Operations. This role has four direct reports and collaborates with five other Regional Directors responsible for operational delivery, as well as the Deputy Principal Registrars for Magistrate Courts and the Supreme and District Court and other court Directors and support staff. You will develop effective working relationships with judicial officers and key court stakeholders.
