About Us The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.

For administrative purposes, Juries Victoria (JV) sits within the Supreme Court of Victoria but operates from the County Court of Victoria. JV is made up of the Juries Commissioner and approximately 20 staff in Melbourne and across regional Victoria.
About the Role Work collaboratively with the JV team and the Supreme Court and County Court judicial staff to meet the demands of jury trials and support citizens through their jury journey.Perform a range of administrative and quasi-legal tasks, such as answering telephone calls, responding to email enquiries, conducting audits, maintaining electronic and hardcopy records and using the Juries Act 2000 to assess the eligibility and availability of Victorian citizens randomly selected for jury service.Provide excellent customer service when attending to telephone, email and counter enquiries.Assist in the instruction, direction, organisation, balloting and escorting of prospective jurors, to and from court.Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, such as associates, tipstaves and jurors.Occasional travel to regional courts across Victoria to assist in the coordination of jury empanelments at those locations.The role is an ongoing position.About You To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
