The Role
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Plant Operator on a full-time permanent basis at our Esperance Terminal.
This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and Team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers. Our Operations can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Roster : 4:4 (shift patterns consisting of four 12-hour shifts on, four days off, including days, sliders and nights)
Responsibilities include:
Grain sampling, receivals and plant hygiene Control room operations Fumigation management as well as preparing grain for shipping while at all times focusing on safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement. Physically, the role involves bending, stretching, climbing ladders, some computer data entry, and working in confined spaces, at heights and in a hot and dusty environment. Potential IC work included during harvest periods About You:
Experience working in a team-focused environment in the grain handling industry Basic computer skills Possession of FEL, EWP, MR or HR tickets/license highly advantageous Any offer of employment will be subject to the outcome of pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing. To be successful in this role, you will need to reside in Esperance or in a nearby area.
