Job Description About the role:
Seymour College has an opportunity for an experienced Music Coordinator to join our team in the Junior School.
This role oversees creating and is responsible for leading growth and excellence in the music and performance offering by developing and implementing an innovative and challenging music curriculum offering.
The successful candidates will:
Be a primary specialist familiar with the Kodaly approach.
Demonstrate a deep commitment to and support of students in developing their music skills in the classroom and beyond.
Be responsible for the coordination of Junior Years student performances at assemblies and College events.
This is a permanent teaching role with a Position of Responsibility for a 3-year tenure.

Desired Skills and Experience About you:
As the successful applicant, you will encompass:
Appropriate academic qualifications, including maintaining a South Australian Teaching Registration Certificate.
A strong knowledge of music development across the Junior Years with an understanding of Middle Years music.
Experience in leading course design, curriculum and assessment development.
The ability to teach either a string or a concert band instrument and demonstrated choral experience in a primary year setting.
