This role offers the opportunity to support the team in ensuring flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service whilst maintaining food safety.A few of your responsibilitiesThorough knowledge of the entire menu, including an understanding of all base products and ingredients used.Food is prepared for food presentation, in line with menu requirements and kitchen standards (SOP's).Mentor and develop the Demi's, Commis', Cooks, and Apprentices in the team.Be able to perform complex cooking duties and produce a dish/recipe, from a combination of ingredients without supervision and assist mis en place across all sections.What we will be looking forHigh volume culinary experience.Can-do team attitude.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.Trade certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).About youYou will be experienced in high volume kitchen environments with sound knowledge across all sections.
These roles require comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and OH&S standards and taking pride in keeping your section stocked and tidy.
