About the Opportunity:We are looking for a driven Junior Sommelier to join our team at Carlotta on a casual basis.
You will have an unwavering passion and appreciation of wine.
This is a hands-on role with focus on service delivery.
We welcome beginners with a strong interest in wine and are happy to provide training.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have: Hospitality experience with a keen interest in wine Demonstrated experience as Sommelier in a premium restaurant highly regarded but not essential Passion for the wine industry Extensive knowledge of wine, new and old world Exceptional service skills and guest focused Experience with stock control and inventory management is advantageous Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods Proven ability in building effective relationships Organisational and time management skills Exceptional communication and presentation Full time availability including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts WSET certification or similar is highly regarded Working with Lucas Restaurants: We exist to see our team succeed.
