Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Solicitor with 3-5 years of post-admission experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Chinese speaker, duly admitted to practise law in the state of New South Wales (NSW) and possess a robust background in family law matters, commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and judgment enforcement. This role demands an individual capable of handling cases independently, with minimal supervision, and who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities: Legal Expertise : Provide expert legal advice and representation in matters related to family law, commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and judgment enforcement. Client Management : Directly manage client relationships, ensuring that all legal solutions are aligned with their needs and expectations. Case Handling : Independently manage a caseload from inception to conclusion, including drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court and at mediations. Research and Analysis : Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development. Compliance and Ethics : Ensure all legal practices are in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards set forth by the legal profession and the state of NSW. Language Skills : Utilize Chinese language proficiency in oral and written communications to effectively service our diverse client base and facilitate better understanding and client relations. Qualifications: A valid Practising Certificate issued by the Law Society of NSW. 3-5 years of post-admission experience in a legal practice environment. Demonstrated experience in family law, commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and judgment enforcement. Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to work independently, manage a significant caseload, and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
