Teaching and Learning
Construct teaching programs, based on applicable NESA syllabi, that will enable you to:
Orchestrate a lesson that maximises learning for all students in the class.
Effectively teach students with identified needs.
Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce in a way that will help them to improve.
Achieve strong academic results.
Other Responsibilities
Involvement in College activities and events including:
Contributing to the student wellbeing program, extra-curricular activities and camps.
Attending chapel, assemblies and other College activities.
Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties.
Attending College events, including parent teacher meetings.
The Contract
All teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools Standards Model Multi Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The MEA outlines teacher's salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities.
Child Safety
The College actively promotes the safety and wellbeing of all students and requires all prospective staff to be suitable and committed to protecting students from harm in the school environment. The College implements the Child Safe Standards developed by the Office of the Children's Guardian. All College staff receive annual training in Child Protection.
