Commencing in Term 1 2025, the Learning Support Assistant is a part-time (0.8 FTE), fixed-term position, working across 5 days.
This position would appeal to someone with experience in a schools-based learning support role who is confident working one-on-one with students with special needs, under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
In joining PLC, you will be part of a welcoming, highly collaborative Junior School team who are committed to supporting students' and their unique learning needs.
About You You have relevant qualifications in education support (Cert III or equivalent) and are passionate about supporting students' learning needs and fostering positive learning outcomes.
You are someone who is able to build trust with students and offer personalised support to help students overcome challenges, grasp unique concepts, grow their confidence, and excel in their studies.
You have demonstrated the ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a calm, considered and sensitive approach to your work with students.
