RolePatterson River Secondary College is seeking a dedicated and organised person to fill the role of administration support for our junior school (years 7-9). The role is full-time and includes a range of functions to support students, families, and level coordinators across the junior school. ResponsibilitiesLiaises with Assistant Principals (school & student operations) as well as sub school leaders and coordinators to ensure smooth coordination of attendance, year level activities and student management.
Highly organisedAbility to keep accurate recordsHigh levels of ICT skills, including Compass and Microsoft OfficeHigh levels of confidentiality.Key responsibilities Tracking of daily roll marking and attendanceSigning students in & out of school for late arrivals/early departuresAssisting parents and carers with general inquiries relating to junior schoolSupporting year level coordinators with general administrative tasks, including documentation, Compass chronicle entries and communicationsOrganising parent meetings with coordinator calendarsAssisting with NAPLAN administrationPreparing key student information for sub school meetings to allow case management of at-risk studentsOrganises induction of new students and families into the school (liaising with AP & Sub School Leader)Manages administrative responsibilities associated with suspensions and student exitsProviding administrative support to the general office during times of unusually high demand and to cover absencesOther duties as directed by the Principal Class.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
