We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Junior Product Manager to assist in the development and delivery of our product strategy globally. To be considered for this role, you must be Brisbane based and eligible to work in Australia on a full-time basis.
Flexible hybrid working arrangement Generous (and always fully-stocked) snack station Unlimited coffee tab at the local café Annual wellness reimbursement One-off home office allowance The Role: As a Junior Product Manager for Social Pinpoint, you'll work directly with the Senior Product Manager to transform business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. You will also work in collaboration with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) on certain strategic initiatives, ensuring our work aligns with the overarching product vision and company objectives.
Responsibilities: Develop a strong understanding of the functionalities and capabilities of the diverse product portfolio. Collaborate with Senior Product Managers, CPO and relevant stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications. Work closely with the development team on effective implementation and delivery of new features. Collaborate with product design, engineering, and broader business teams to develop innovative and intuitive features that are aligned with the wider product strategy and vision. Participate in agile ceremonies such as project planning, stand-ups and retrospectives. Conduct usability testing and analysis to evaluate the accuracy of new features against Project scope and documented acceptance criteria. Assist in assessing the effectiveness of product releases by leveraging data and analytics to monitor adoption, track KPIs, and optimise product features post-launch. Support the product Go-To-Market process through internal product promotion, feature demos, product documentation, and other methods to support internal stakeholders. Act as the voice of the product by triaging and solving product-related questions for internal stakeholders within the business. Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Skills & Experience: 1-2 years experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner/Product Manager within the software or technology sector. Experience working within software development cycles and agile methodologies. Comfortable with technical concepts and the ability to engage in technical discussions with the development team. Strong communication skills, with experience translating business intent to delivery requirements. Previous exposure to Community Engagement or Stakeholder Management or GovTech preferred but not essential. At Social Pinpoint, we believe that diversity drives success.
