Based on the Central Coast we have one of the largest fabrication and welding workshops in Australia that offers high-quality end-to-end products and service on the equipment we manufacture.Due to ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for a Junior Engineer role to join our team at our Berkeley Vale, Central Coast manufacturing facility!The primary objective of this role is to support our Estimating, Purchasing and manufacturing departments with engineering and project support.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience and skills across multiple areas of our business.The key responsibilities of this role will include: (but not limited to)Checking, editing and producing DXF files for part processing.Reading engineering drawings and compiling bills of material for estimating and purchasing.Compiling project information for job packs.Sourcing material and component pricing.Assisting the project team in daily tasks.Assisting the estimating team in daily tasks.To be successful in this role you will have:Studied an engineering degree or currently studying an engineering degree.The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills and punctuality.Familiarity with CAD software (e.g.
